1 Pair instock: DIY Heavy Leather Vambraces/ Size Regular/ Grade B

As many of you know , I used to be a saddler, so I still had some high quality saddle skirting laying around perfect for making heavy duty vambraces and cuisses. I may later pull some of these to dye (with an additional price) but I know many of my customers like to put some ownership into their armor, as well as save some money, so Im offerring the DIY option out there first.

These will come in two grades (which are not leather grades, just a simple way of classifying for Our purposes)

Grade A will be leather cut from the back of the cow where it is thickest, and toughest. This leather has No need to add splints whatsoever as that would be way too much overkill. Grade A is what I would recommend for customers wanting to carve, tool, hot water shape, or curboille.

Grade B will be leather cut further from the back but not all the way to the belly (as I consider belly leather only good for crafts and odd parts). These will still be of good quality, from the same cow even, but not quite as thick, and more suited to adding splints if you are looking to go that route. This leather will also tool and carve but if you are adding that much diy labor to your project, I recommend going with Grade A.

I Did cheat a little for you guys on the DIY part.. most injuries Ive experienced with novices and leather is during the edging process, so All of these cuisses and vanbraces, regardless of Grade will come edged, ready for dyeing, or curboille, or whatever you have in store for them.

These are for articulated joints.
